In 2012, Marc Webb and Sony Pictures revived the Spiderman film franchise with The Amazing Spiderman. With its sequel, Webb has attempted to lay the groundwork for one of the webslinger’s biggest struggles while holding true to the tone and aesthetic that make the source material so unique. The Amazing Spiderman 2 is a fast paced, high-flying action movie with all the laughs and emotions that are such a staple of this beloved character. It is safe to say: Marc Webb, you are the man.
